Graduation Day :)  June 7, 2019

Graduation is at 2:00 pm.
 

Congratulations to our graduates.  Please arrive at our community center 1:00 pm - 1:15 pm.  
Boys - slacks and dress shirt and tie.
Girls - dress or skirt and blouse.
NO SNEAKERS, wear shoes you can walk in!

Seating - each family will have a reserved, marked pew  in the church.  There will be additional seating available as well.  

We are looking forward to a beautiful day.

**Students were given a form today with graduation information, which is also posted above.  The form also has the information needed in order to order a DVD of the graduation.  

Tomorrow and Thursday are both half-days with a 12:00 dismissal.  We will practice for graduation on both days - Thursday is a full practice in Church with Music - it is extremely important for all students to be present for this.

Friday, May 31st - 

*Grade 8 Dance is this Sunday at the Community Center - 6 pm - 10 pm.  Please see detailed post above.  If your child is leaving the dance with another family, please put this in a note and have your child bring it to the dance.  At drop off to the dance, familes are welcome to stay to take pictures.

Final exam grades were distributed today.  Please sign sheet and return on Monday.

Please be advised that grade 8 will have graduation practice as often as possible next week.  Attendance in school is important.

Wednesday, May 29th - 

**Monday will be "Memory Day"  in grade 8.  I will bring in snacks - the students should bring a drink.  The students will receive their yearbooks and the memories they have written at the end of each school year.  I'd like to show the kindergarten graduataion.  If anyone has this DVD, please send it in for the day.  Thank you.

**Graduation gowns will be handed out this Friday.  All fees, including iPad fees, must be paid in order to receive this.

iPads were collected by St. Joseph by the Sea High School today.  Students who owe money for damages were given an business card with their name and the amount owed.  This fee must be remitted by Thursday.  Thank you in advance.

Friday, May 24th - 

Enjoy the long weekend.....please remember that iPads are being picked up by SJBS on Tuesday.  Bring the iPad charged as well as the brick and cable.  iPads may be purchased for $150 cash.  **If you are absent from school on this day, please have someone get the iPad with brick and cable to St. Christopher's.  SJBS needs to be able to evaluate and collect your iPad on this date.    See detailed post above in Important Grade 8 Information for all details.  

**Graduation gowns will be distributed on Friday, May 31st.  All tuition and fees, including iPad fees, must be paid in order to receive the graduation gown.

iPad Acceptable Use Agreement was handed out today.  The top sheet of this must be returned Monday in order for your child to receive his/her iPad.

Please return Emergency Form by Monday.

Supply money and other forms (Summary Statement and Archdiocese Income Survey form) due Friday, but please send these in as soon as possible.

Please send a box of tissues and a package of baby or disinfectant wipes to school if you have not done so already.  Thank you.

Each student should have a small tape dispenser or a glue stick in his/her pencil case to affix handouts into a notebook when needed.

Finish your name square for our class banner if you did not already hand it in.

Each student must have a silent reading book in his/her desk.  We use these each day.                       Scholastic was handed out today.  Orders due by Friday, September 14th.  There is a great $1.00 book,  Hidden Figures, available.  

Students may bring water bottles to school to keep at their desks.  Water only, please, in a disposable bottle.
