*Back to School Zoom meetings will be held on Tuesday, September 14th. Zoom links will be sent via email along with the Back to School letter attached. Grade 8 will meet with me, Mrs. Macri, at 6:20 p.m. Meeting time is limited to 20 minutes as there are many sessions scheduled so that parents may join each teacher with no conflicts among siblings. You are welcome to contact me via email if you would like any additional information or have any additional questions. The Back to School letter is very comprehensive.

Confirmation- I am happy to announce the date for the Sacrament of Confirmation. It will take place on Friday, May 13th at 4:00 pm at St. Christopher Church.

Parent Confirmation meeting at St. Christopher Church at 7:30 pm. At least one parent must attend.

Additional Infomation:
1) Sponsors - This person must be a Confirmed Cathoic at least 16 years of age in good standing. This means he/she will need to get a letter of sponsorship from his/her parish which will state eligibility to be a sponsor. Please ask your child's sponsor to call his/her Church to request a letter of sponsorship.
2) Students should choose a Confirmation name. The name or a variation of it must be a saint's name. The students will be completing a report on the saint. I have given the students an outline and will go over it with them again. This report is due after President's Week on Monday, February 28th.
3) You will need to provide a copy of your child's Baptismal certificate. If you don't have this on hand, you can request one from the Church where your child was baptized.
4) Confirmation fee is $125.00.
5) Service hours - We are asking for 15 service hours. A recording sheet will be distrubuted this week. Due to COVID, we are not requiring separate hours for family, community, and church. Activities such as shoveling, helping elders in the family, extra chores, helping a sibling or a friend with homework, etc. are all acceptable.
6) There will be a day of prayer for the students - date, place and time TBA.
Confirmation News
Confirmation - Friday, May 13th at 4 pm. Confirmation candidates and their sponsors should be at the Community Center at 3:15 pm. The photographer will be taking portraits after the ceremony.
DVDs of the Confirmation liturgy will be delivered to the school and handed out to the students.
