** Report cards have been posted. Please log into your ADNY accounts to view them. If there are any problems accessing your account, please call the office or e-mail me and I can pass along your question.
** One covid kit per child was placed in each schoolbag today (1/5). Please check and take it out today. If your child was absent, I have their box for when they return.
** Please sign and date the signature page in your child's test folder. You may take out all the assessments and keep them at home.
** As the weather gets cooler, children will need a place to hang their sweatshirts and jackets. Since we will not be using our coat closet again this year, I ask that whenever convenient, you send one or two large Command Hooks that will be stuck to the side of each desk. The students can use these to hang coats and sweatshirts. Thank you!

CHRISTMAS WEEK ASSIGNMENT:
Our holiday math homework assignment is to be completed and submitted online. Please click the link for both part one and part two homework. Make sure to type your name before you begin each part. You can click the link from here, or I will post in Google Classroom for easy access. Once you begin a part, it must be completed to the end. Part one and part two can be taken at different times.

** Friday - 9/10
1. Please try to wrap a few of their books in clear contact paper. If you still do not have any, no worries. I will send a few books a day home next week as well.
2. Please note the test schedule above. We will have our first quiz on the Flat Stanley book next Friday.
3. An email went home about hot lunch. Please note, it was POSTPONED until October 4h.
4. ALL summer homework assignments are due by Monday, Sept. 13th. These assignments will receive a math and reading homework grade! If they have not been handed in, please send them by Monday.
5. An important letter from me has been placed in your child's message folder. I have attached a copy of it above in the "Documents" section for future reference.
6. Emails have been sent from the office about "Back To School Night" meetings next Tuesday, Sept. 14th. Please note, second grade will hold a zoom meeting from 6:40 - 7:00. Zoom links wil be sent Monday.
** Thursday - 9/9:
1. Please write your child's password for their Google account on the inside, front cover, of their purple Religion/Math notebook. We will be logging into personal school devices and they will need access to their account!
2. Please look at the class page on our school website and try to sign up for our second grade Google Classroom. Instructions as well as the code to join will be there. If you have any difficulty, please let me know.
3. Any outstanding summer assignments are to be sent in by Monday. I will be using these as a homework grade. If you have not completed it, I will put a blank copy in your child's folder.
** As a side note, please be patient with the websites as I am setting up accounts for the class. I have only finished a few. It will say (Not Set Up Yet) above if I haven't completed that site yet. I will let you know when all accounts are complete. Thank you for your patience.
